Every registered user accesses the community with 1 (one) as user’s score. Furthermore every registered user has a status as listed below:
- Approved user Status: the user registered its account successfully and can access the community.
- Blocked user Status: a Blocked user Status occurs when, following the moderation activity of the community staff members, the user is blocked in two possible ways: Permanently or Temporarily. Both options automatically reduce the user score to -100. Users negative scores impact the visibility of their posts.
- User Account Cancellation Status: the Cancellation Status is when the user proceeds to cancellation (through Settings/Delete Account). It is a simple/soft cancellation meaning that all its posts and comments remain as well as its avatar and username (but the user does no longer appear through searches andcannot log-in to the community). Furthermore it cancels: its and all the other profile data.
- User Account GDPR Cancellation Status: the GDPR Cancellation Status can be obtained by the user by requesting the permanent erasure (in compliance with the GDPR). It is a “hard” cancellation, everything is erased from the data base except the user (the username becomes anonymous in the format of user_ID). The GDPR Cancellation can be performed only by the community staff members (upon user’s request) through the moderation panel. Specifically the GDPR Cancellation erases:
- any profile data
- any followed interests and posts
- posts and comments
- connections
- social accounts
- any given appreciations
- hidden posts
- sessions and tokens
